| The guest speaker for the event will be Jonnel Doris, Senior Advisor & Director of the Mayor’s Office of the Minority & Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) Program who will address the disparity issue in city procurement and new initiatives that the Mayor has launched to increase procurement opportunities for city M/WBE’s.
Mr. Doris will also talk about the proposed increase in discretionary purchasing by city agencies from $150,000 to $1 million dollars. This is a “must event” for MWBEs to attend if they are interested in doing business with the City of New York Agencies/Departments.
